A Special Pasta Dinner and Concert Featuring Evan Pritchard, James Krueger and Julie Parisi-Kirby and TG Vannini Saturday December 6, 5 – 6 Dinner; 6 - 7:30 Concert; $10 - $15 suggested donation. Snow Date Sunday December 7, 5 – 7:30 PM Celebrate the great beauty of our planet while helping the Community Center raise funds to make their beautiful building more energy efficient. Native American scholar, author and performer Evan Pritchard and local songwriters James Krueger, Julie Parisi-Kirby and TG Vanini (of Princes of Serendip fame) will present an early evening of fine music that honors the earth. Evan Pritchard has authored many books on Native history and spirituality, including Native New Yorkers and No Word for Time. Described as an “extraordinarily talented writer with a real talent for poetic imagery”, James Krueger has released five solo CDs and is a two-time honor award winner in the Great American Song Contest. Grounded in classical, folk, and Celtic music with a pinch of the Beatles thrown in for good measure, Julie Parisi-Kirby and TG Vanini's songs are poetic, sophisticated, whimsical, worldly, childlike, socially conscious, powerfully emotional and downright silly. An evening not to be missed!
